XML Publishing Manager for central government organisation

Your new company
Based in the heart of Westminster, Central Government organisation supporting parliamentary process and a thriving democracy. This role will sit in the publishing team, providing high quality creative and technical publishing services to parliamentary departments.

Your new role
Reporting to the Head of Procedural Publishing, you will lead XML publishing expertise within the team, supporting workflows of XSLT and InDesign to produce outputs for web and print. You will develop and maintain publishing workflows using XML /XSLT and HTML to ensure no-fail publishing of business-critical content. This role does not have direct line management, but with their flat structure you will mentor and guide more junior members of the team.

What you'll need to succeed
A business critical role, you will need a substantial track record of using XML/XLST and InDesign, to produce long form text documents and other publications for print and digital. You will have excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills also a creative flair for publishing and design. It is essential you have an interest or desire to become engaged in public affairs.
