Our client is a Digital Media Specialist focusing in the Medicine and Life Sciences Sector – currently looking for 2 Marketing Co-Ordinators

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Marketing Co-ordinator who already has some experience of creating and delivering a variety of marketing activities such as creating internal/external emails, working on organic and paid social campaigns, undertaking website checks and briefing designers on artwork.

This role requires someone who is comfortable monitoring, optimising and reporting on campaign performance for emails and social media activity.With a flair for building relationships and working as a pivotal member of a fast-paced and high-performing team, this role requires someone who can work well with others and enjoys having fun along the way.

Main responsibilities:

  • Running day-to-day marketing activities for our clients
  • Writing engaging copy for multi-channel marketing campaigns on social media, emails, brochures, podcasts, press releases, newsletters, speeches, website copy and leaflets
  • Creating test plans where appropriate on email and social. Ensure we are testing and learning with our email templates/social assets and website layouts
  • Developing, scheduling, analysing and timelyreporting on marketing campaigns – taking insights from the results to further improve performance over time
  • Delivering email marketing campaigns from beginning to end – i.e. writing copy, and inputting into our email platform Marketo, sending test emails, making data selections and deploying emails
  • Creating and setting up organic and paid social media campaigns
  • Monitoring and responding to feedback from the social media
  • Writing briefs for and working with design staff or supplier
  • Supporting database growth and management
  • Using project management software Jira to plan and track marketing deliverables
  • Attend weekly meetings with sales/editorial team to understand their business priorities and execute marketing plans to support their activity/improve on what we are doing
  • Knowing the status of your projects at all times – including performance for live projects. Knowing what’s next and being able to update the team – giving them confidence that everything is running smoothly
  • Conducting research on clients, therapy areas and projects to identify market trends and innovations
  • Ensuring that digital marketing content aligns with the company’s brand identity and message
  • Performing market research and analysing the company’s audience and its needs??
  • Identifying and liaising with influencers and key opinion leaders
  • Drive market awareness by developing and delivering campaigns that position
  • Support with internal communications, keeping our social community up to date on key company initiatives and business wins, encouraging optimum employee interaction

Person Specification:

  • Possesses strong insights and understanding of social media channels and keeps up to date with latest platforms and trends
  • Experience in creating organic social marketing campaigns, including setting them up and optimising on platform. You know the latest trends and capabilities across the different social platforms
  • Excellent spoken and written English – you are passionate about and able to write impactful and inspiring copy
  • Good analytical skills – you can see patterns and trends in behaviours and numbers
  • Technically minded with high level of computer literacy – you enjoy getting stuck in a spreadsheet and don’t mind teaching yourself how to use the latest data analysis software
  • Strong communication skills – you naturally update colleagues/systems with tasks you are doing without prompting
  • Strong attention to detail – you see typos and prefer to give a little too much information than not enough
  • Sound project management skills
  • Proven experience delivering successful activities in digital marketing
  • Interest in life sciences would be desirable
