Technical Support Coordinator

Hampshire, commutable from areas such as: Andover, Winchester and Basingstoke

£19K + Bonus


Based within beautiful surroundings in the Hampshire countryside, our client is an award-winning, niche creative agency with an enviable client list and ambitious plans for growth. They are looking for an energetic Technical Support Coordinator who enjoys both talking to customers and identifying and resolving technical challenges. You will also be involved in the configuration, testing and dispatch of equipment, ensuing excellent communication between installers and customers.

Due to their rural location you will need to be a car driver & owner.

Your role will involve:

  • Take ownership of technical issues reported by customers, ensuring quick resolution, escalating any serious issues to the Technical Support Manager.
  • Provide first line technical telephone support to customers, ensuring customers are kept informed of progress at all times.
  • Organise the testing and dispatch of equipment to customer sites and engineers as required.
  • Record all customer interactions, hardware and engineer activity on internal CRM system.
  • Answering inbound calls, managing general queries and taking messages where appropriate.
  • Meet and greet visitors, and distribution of post and incoming deliveries.

You will be the ideal candidate due to your:

  • Experience of working in a customer service environment, either face to face or over the telephone.
  • Excellent telephone manner.
  • Good communication skills.
  • High levels of self-motivation.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • IT literate.
  • Educated to GCSE standard, including Maths and English.
  • Having a natural interest in telephony and/or networks would be advantageous.
