Marketing and Digital Lead

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Digital Marketing Executive to join a well-established Charity based in Norwich.
The main purpose of this role will be to plan and deliver creative digital marketing content to increase awareness and support, incorporating supporter acquisition, participation, engagement and retention, ensuring the charity's values, ambitions and goals are achieved.

Key responsibilities:

• Work alongside the Marketing Communications Manager to develop and implement a digital marketing strategy
• Plan website, SEO, email, social media and display advertising campaigns
• Contribute to planning and development of digital activity in line with strategic and campaign objectives in order to achieve fundraising targets, but also increase engagement and reach
• Manage the digital library, developing all forms of media to have available for relevant audiences
• Management of the charity's website via WordPress, collating feedback internally for how it can be improved
• Management of all social media accounts related to the Charity and development of the website
• Develop greater understanding of digital engagement to reach new and existing target audience groups to inform marketing campaigns, platforms and activities
• Keep up to date with latest developments in digital marketing and suggest/trial new innovations
• Generate content and copy for all forms of communications, including support for mission reporting
• Manage brand consistency throughout the charity, supporting the communications team to write and develop marketing collateral
• Lead on the use of digital analytics to track progress and inform strategy, campaigns and activity
• Deal with ad-hoc press enquiries
• Advise on and developing marketing campaigns alongside Fundraisers to deliver a consistent message
• Manage the mission reporting on the website
• Work within the Communications Team and the wider Fundraising Directorate to deliver specialist events e.g. annual general meeting in line with experience and core duties.
• Be part of a media on-call rota with the rest of the Communications Team
• Support the Marketing Communications Manager in the delivery of corporate and crisis communications

The successful candidate will have exposure to development of digital marketing strategies to achieve objectives. You will have experience developing social media campaigns and utilising optional extras to maximise reach e.g. Facebook advertising.
