Our client is a well-established, independent supplies specialist based in Nottinghamshire.

They have a great opportunity for a Graphic Designer to join their Publications and Communications Team.

The successful candidate will take responsibility for the production of multiple publications and the design and creation of additional marketing activity to support the wider Marketing Team.

Key responsibilities

In conjunction with the Publications and Communications Manager, take responsibility for co-ordinating major publications including the biennial 1000+ page catalogue.

Liaise with printers to obtain multiple quotes, co-ordinate production/delivery dates, supply artwork and approve proofs for print.

Utilise Matrix CMS in the creation of various catalogues and brochures including quarterly and annual promotional brochures.

Support the broader Marketing Team with the design and creation of various pieces of high quality marketing collateral including flyers, brochures, exhibition stands/banners, posters, web buttons, banners and subsites in addition to assisting in the production of catalogues. This will include utilising existing templates as well as creating new ones.

Presenting final ideas and concepts to relevant teams within the business.

Update non-product changes to the web as required via the CMS system including co-ordinating the web refresh, updating news updates, building subsites, updating employment opportunities, managing the certificates pages etc.

Assist in the development of the company’s brand identity.

Where required, embark on active market research on focused customer data.

Ensure that all relationships with internal and external customers/suppliers are maintained in a positive and pro-active manner.

Key requirements:

Proven graphic design experience and creative ability for the creation of promotions and literature.

Proficient in the use of InDesign.

High level of attention to detail.

Well organised, capable of planning and prioritising workloads to ensure effective delivery on multiple tasks.

High standards of written and verbal communication.

Ability to work individually or as part of a team in a motivational manner.
