My client is a multinational industrial manufacturing and production British based company with head offices in Guildford. Part of a global brand, the company employs over 25,000 employees across 6 continents and is a market leader in their field. Due to maternity, we are seeking the job of Digital Marketing Executive - Ecommerce on a 12 month fixed term contract to start ASAP.
Your new role
This is an exciting time to join my client as more of their customers use their online channel. Ecommerce is a critical part of the business going forward and this role is important to driving their ecommerce strategy and activities.
This role will be responsible for supporting the digital marketing strategies on the ecommerce store, and one of your priorities will be defining and executing a SEO strategy for the UK+I sites. You will be responsible for the tactics within this strategy with the ultimate goal to improve the organic traffic and conversion. This is an exciting time to join as you will also manage a domain migration project.
You will also work across the ecommerce team to provide data-driven decisions to others within the team. Your love for data and analytical experience will enable you to give insights from Google Analytics and other data sources, which are actionable to improve conversion and customer experience on the websites.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a strong digital marketer with experience in planning and delivering successful online optimisation programmes. We are looking for applicants with strong SEO knowledge and understanding, with demonstrable experience of SEO responsibilities. You will use your advanced experience with analytical tools such as Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, and your excellent communication skills and collaborative approach. On an everyday basis you will be using your proven experience of creating search engine optimised website content.
What you'll get in return
You will receive a salary of between £28000 - £35000 depending on your experience, and other company benefits including above-average holiday allowance for the year.
