Product Manager - Financial Services - South Manchester

Are you a passionate and driven Product Manager/Owner, looking for your next challenge to add significant value in high growth environments? This could be your ideal role.
Operating in the Financial Services sector, our client offers specialist commercial and personal financial solutions to businesses and individuals often forgotten by the mainstream lenders. Supported by decades of successful trading and offering innovative solutions, they have firmly established themselves as a market leader.

Based in state of the art, purpose built offices in South Manchester, the Product Manager role will have complete ownership of the product roadmap from conception to review. Successful applicants will have a proven track record of exceptional performance in a financial services environment, ideally with experience in mortgages.

Product Manager - Key Responsibilities
*Develop a deep understanding of the current and future customer needs across all areas of the business and how those needs interact with your product.
*Own the end to end product lifecycle from design, addition, edit, and removal of product range.
*Drive change to satisfy customer needs and generate business in line with strategic requirements.
*Work with key stakeholders to ensure the development of profitable, sustainable and compliant products.
*Fully proficient in new product development, mid lifecycle edits and removals.
*Proven experience in cross-functional project management.
*Ensure all products are closely aligned with the Group's strategic objectives and capabilities.
*Closely monitor existing product performance, making swift recommendations to ensure they are working as expected.
*Be completely familiar with all influencing drivers, internal and external.
*Report and make recommendations to stakeholders making decisions to capitalise on opportunities and mitigate risks and threats.

Product Manager - Key Requirements
*Proven experience as a financial services product owner, ideally in mortgages
*Have a proven track record of delivering successful, user-oriented products.
*Detailed understanding of the compliance and regulatory landscape.
*Ability to define and communicate product vision or strategy to key stakeholders.
*Have a strategic mind-set, able to identify business opportunities and deliver against them.
*Great organisational skills, able to manage and deliver multiple projects simultaneously.
*Have the ability to build a high performing team.
*Be highly analytical and methodical approach to problem solving.
*Have experience of driving product development through all phases of the product roadmap

Highly competitive salary of £45,000 - £55,000 + benefits.
