Calisen is in an exciting and strong position where we are seeing growth and development in all areas of the business, and we now have an exciting opportunity to join us as a Communications Executive working within our growing Marketing and Communications team.

The Communications Executive will play a pivotal role in supporting the communications and marketing team by managing internal events, assisting with internal communications and ad-hoc email campaigns, and creating compelling digital content aligned with our communication framework. They will also provide support to stakeholders by creating communication collateral and assist with Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) and Wellbeing communication campaigns, ensuring appropriate tone of voice in communications, managing communication and marketing budgets, maintaining brand guidelines, and providing general support to the Internal Communications and Marketing Managers. This role also includes assisting in building PowerPoint Decks and other resources for both Internal Communications and Marketing.

This is not just a job – it’s a permanent, full-time role where you’ll be working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. You’ll have the flexibility to work from home via hybrid setup, while also working from our Manchester office located in the city centre at least two days a week (with the potential need to travel to our other offices). In return, you’ll be rewarded with an annual salary of up to £32,000.

What we are looking for

  • Energetic candidate with a solid educational background (at least GCSE level).
  • Experience working within a communications role using Canva with a good understanding of communications strategy and best in class practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong copywriting abilities to create engaging content, and have strong attention to detail.
  • Dynamic, eager-to-learn, and thrive within an energetic and outgoing team.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and excel in a fast-paced environment.
