We’re looking for a talented and passionate Social Media Planner, to join one of the biggest hotel companies in the world!

As the Social Media Planner, you will be working closely with Organic Social Media Team as well as with Programmatic Media Team and will be responsible for commercial and/or brand driven paid social campaign management.
The Social Media Planner will be responsible primarily for media-planning; this role doesn’t involve heavy content creation, however the ideal candidate will understand how content is consumed and distributed via social channels.

The main role of the Social Media Planner is to drive the growth of traffic to the IHG direct websites (primarily IHG.com), and generate incremental revenue for IHG hotels in Europe.
This role will be responsible for owning Paid Social Media Channel for IHG Europe to promote our global hotel brands. The role will include working with commercial briefs, strategy and execution, media implementation/trafficking, ongoing optimisation and performance insights reporting
- Reporting to the Programmatic Marketing Lead, you'll focus on Paid Social Campaigns on Pan-European scale
- Hands-on optimising and scaling Facebook/Instagram/Linkedin/etc. campaigns, balancing various granular KPIs
- Create new acquisition campaigns, test creative and landing pages
- Driving budget pacing and bidding optimisation to meet monthly/quarterly targets
- Researching target audiences and bidding strategies and thinking of innovative new ways for us to reach potential customers
- Constant and thorough data analysis to identify areas for improvement
- Creating weekly and monthly paid social reports
What we’re looking for:
You’ll need to be comfortable engaging with brand/commercial teams and taking responsibility for defining what you need to deliver results. You will be able to work on your own initiative and demonstrate an ability to work within tight deadlines.
You’ll have a minimum of 1 years’ pure experience in Paid Social channel either in an agency or with in-house team.
You’ll have demonstrable project management experience in organising, planning and executing and/or optimising new projects for Paid Social with hands-on experience with Paid Social Tools, including Facebook Business Manager; Sprinklr; Twitter for Business; LinkedIn; etc.
Hospitality experience is a plus; international experience (member of global team, working with customers in multiple countries) also a plus.
