As the Data Insight Analyst for this financial services organisation, you will be tasked with translating information outputs into actionable insights whilst determining key themes and customer behaviour in order to enhance business performance as well as improve the customer experience.
The company provides services to both customers and businesses across the UK. They are a well-recognised brand and one of scale, servicing millions of UK customers! In this role will be working as part of the UK customer operations team. As a business they have been in a period of rapid growth, more than doubling headcount in recent years.
The company is looking to develop and increase how they use data in supporting business decisions and also help answer the reasons 'why' and 'so what' behind customer behaviour. Being part of the Data Insight team you will be joining is a relatively new business unit with the mandate to support the business in becoming a more data and customer centric operation.
You will be reporting into the Customer Insights Manager and be a key lead for championing the move to this more insight led approach to business. It's a relatively lean team at the moment, made up of 2 halves - one being reporting, and this insight side, which you will be sitting within.
You're going to be given often woolly business questions which need answering. With the support of your manager you will shape these into specific data needs, translate them into analysis projects, carry them out, identify the issues/trends within and articulate that back to the business in the form of meaningful and actionable insights and recommendations.
On top of this, you will help in developing the team in order to future proof the insight function. The ideal candidate should be able to provide recommendations in order to improve data quality e.g. updated systems/tools and to also make suggestions on automation. Furthermore, you will be developing the efficiency of the role through the implementation of new procedures. This should improve data strategy and also ensure that all data sources are available.
This is an exciting opportunity ideal for someone looking to continue their career within Data Insight but also wants to help establish the insight and data teams' direction. All of this within a global recognised organisation who can support this change and development.
