Our client is an established, fast-growing gift and beauty brand renowned for delivering imaginative, trend-setting products to leading retailers worldwide. They are on the lookout for a skilled and seasoned Packaging Artworker with a keen eye for detail to join their friendly, fun team based in Central London.

In this multifaceted role, you will be creating and preparing print ready artwork for a range of packaging items for this client’s design-led gifting and beauty product ranges. You will work closely with the design and product development teams to ensure all artwork aligns with this brand’s high standards and is accurate and production-ready.

Role & responsibilities for this Packaging Artworker will include:

  • Develop high-quality, print-ready artwork for packaging materials based on the design briefs and specifications provided
  • Apply Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop expertise to execute artwork tasks efficiently
  • Implement die cuts and print specs accurately to ensure accurate production of packaging materials
  • Collaborate closely with the design team to refine artwork, ensuring consistency and adherence to brand guidelines
  • Report to the head of design and work closely with the Product Development team
  • Maintain well-organised files and documentation related to artwork projects for easy access and reference
  • Liaise with external suppliers and printers to communicate artwork requirements and resolve production issues.
  • Stay informed of industry trends and best practices in packaging design and production techniques
  • Demonstrate a proactive approach to learning and skill enhancement to excel in the role
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute innovative ideas to streamline processes and workflows
  • Embrace growth opportunities within the role and the company, showing readiness to tackle new challenges and responsibilities

Skill & experience required:

  • Expertise in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop is essential
  • 1-2 years of demonstrated experience within the production of packaging artwork
  • Experience with die cuts, cutter guides, print specifications such as CMYK & foiling, and other technical aspects relevant to packaging design
  • Exceptional attention to detail, maintaining accuracy within a fast-paced setting
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to operate both independently and as part of a team, with a receptive attitude towards feedback and teamwork
  • A keenness for continual learning and development within the role, displaying a long-term commitment to the company’s success
  • Great multitasking skills, ability to work on numerous projects simultaneously
