BD Manager (Business Owner, Executive & Family Wealth) - Legal
A leading national law firm is looking for a Business Development Manager to work with the firm's multi-practice business owner, executive and family wealth team across all areas of marketing and business development.
Reporting to the Director of Business Development & Marketing and drawing on the expertise of the firm's wider marketing and business development team, the Business Development Manager will lead and develop business development and marketing across the business owner, executive and family wealth team. The role holder will be responsible for developing the profile of the group both internally and externally, working with partners to agree joined-up business plans, and subsequently ensuring the successful execution of all plans and the measurement of results. You will also be tasked with identifying and developing target markets, promoting the use of the firm's CRM system to improve information sharing and knowledge and co-ordinating activities to ensure joined up communications.
You will need to have a strong academic background allied to extensive and broad marketing and BD experience gained whilst working in another top law or professional services firm to include proven experience of executing business development plans and a sound understanding of CRM systems. Organised, proactive and self-motivated, you will also require outstanding communication and persuasion skills in order to liaise effectively at all levels of the firm. Knowledge of the corporate, executive and family wealth markets are highly desirable.
