The Business:

Product Partnerships Ltd (PPL) is a highly respected compliance consultancy working within the consumer credit sector assisting firms that must adhere to the regulations of the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA)

Primary objectives of the role:

Overall responsibility for developing the firm’s product range and then marketing the product portfolio. Product development will involve working with 3rd party technology suppliers to build innovative solutions for the consumer credit regulatory market as well as optimising internal resources. The marketing aspect of the role will focus on outreach, PR, thought leadership, building key industry relationships as well as top line marketing activity.

Key stakeholders:

Management of relationships with key internal and external stakeholders including PPL’s Board and Senior Management Team (SMT). It is critical the candidate can work well with the Account Management Team to assist in business development activity also.

Key responsibilities:

  • Development of a new product range to help the business maintain its growth aspirations and become a market leader in its sector.
  • Owns the relationship with 3rd party suppliers, including cutting edge technology firms, maximising the benefits of these relationships in the development of new products.
  • Client facing in tandem with the wider SMT to promote the product range and finalise contractual arrangements.
  • Managing and having responsibility for the full marketing mix in terms of product, price, promotion, people and place, including ensuring new products are correctly costed and deliver the required margins.
  • Development of new marketing channels and initiatives, which will be a core part of the role.
  • Heavy focus on positioning the business as ‘thought leaders’ utilising FCA and industry publications to produce articles that interest the sector and drive the firm’s PR capability and raise awareness of PPL.
  • Utilise marketing strategies to build on the 1st class B2B relationships the business has with Lenders, Legal companies and other suppliers in the sector.
  • Google Ads and social media design and management either directly or through an agency.
  • Webinar construct and associated Customer Relationship Management (CRM) activity.

  • Ability to communicate at all organisational levels from Board members to operational staff, both within AR/Client organisations and PPL.
  • Experience of working within an FCA regulated environment.
  • Strong influencer with ‘can do’ collaborative team ethics.
  • Has the ability to grow in-line with the Company’s growth plans.

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Strong academic record, OR 3 years + direct experience essential.
  • Strong IT skills with a good understanding of the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Ability to review Management Information (MI) that informs the marketing plan, inline with the Company’s strategic objectives. Experience of working in a service led or consultancy business, selling B2B products.

Please note the role is based in Leeds but is a hybrid role working from home.
