About our Client: 

A global food giant with operations in 40 countries, employing over 30,000 people. Their UK Operations incorporate great brands across the 'food on the go' marketplace and this brand new Commercial Brand Manager position has been created to work as the No.2 to the Director.

About the Role: 

Working with many international brands in the foodservice channel, you will be responsible for a team of two.  Leading the way, you will take the lead for development of the range within the bakery and coffee sectors, NPD development and creative thinking around new product and direction of the range, look and feel, pricing strategy and overall commercial development of the brands.

This Commercial Brand Manager role is really focussed around the development of new ideas into the food on the go market. Working with your analysts, you will look at foodie trends in the bakery market and with the NPD team, will then develop the best products for the business. 

You will have full commercial responsibility for the P&L and will ultimately be responsible for driving the growth of the category, so as well as bringing a creative mind, you will need to bring a commercial mindset too. 

Development of the team is also key with responsibility for empowering and supporting their delivery of their number too. 

This role is a real mix of brand management, analytical forecasting, NPD development and commercial acumen.
