Working for a well established and expanding business in the fashion industry, you will take on a brand new job as a Social Media Executive, based in south Manchester.
Your new role
As the Social Media Executive your role will be to manage multiple social media accounts across various platforms. Working closely with the eCommerce team, creative team and closely with agency you will create and deliver brand -appropriate content to increase traffic and deliver engaging, 'on-brand' customer experiences across a number of social media brand campaigns as well as monitor and report on social statistics using web analytics software to identify trends, patterns and opportunities. You will be responsible for producing creative online content to a high standard. You will take ownership of daily maintenance of social media channels such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, You Tube etc. produce blogs which are brand-appropriate and SEO optimised. You will be involved in blogger outreach and on-site keyword optimisation to identify the best terms to target and creative optimised meta-titles, meta-descriptions and on-page content. You will also assist the Graphic Designer to create engaging copy for homepages, emails and web features.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you will be educated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant field such as Fashion Marketing and be able to demonstrate previous work experience within social media or content marketing campaigns ideally in a fashion retail environment. You will be able to use web analytics software and have the ability to identify trends and patterns in data to facilitate and guide future social activities, You will have experience of writing creative and engaging content, have an adaptable writing style and understanding of tone of voice, as well as a thorough understanding of the commercial relevance of social media engagement. In addition, strong communication skills are essential, as the Social Media Executive will work closely with other team members. A strong understanding of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and other social media channels is essential. An understanding of SEO and Google Analytics is desirable.
