THE ROLE

An opportunity has now arisen for both a Business Development Manager and Head of Sales to join the team. Dealing with new business enquiries, building lasting relationships with potential clients, networking and targeting prospective clients will all fall within your remit. Targeting and working with a huge range of prospective clients from endless sectors, this is an exciting opportunity to further build the events calendar for the venue while introducing new ideas to shape the business.

Key responsibilities will include:

–          Nurturing existing accounts to ensure repeat business

–          Seeking out and developing business relationships

–          Managing and responding to incoming enquiries

–          Qualifying new briefs from potential clients

–          Creating sales and marketing strategies

–          Closing deals and negotiating contracts

–          Introducing new ideas to the business

–          Networking at industry events

–          Working closely to targets

THE CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate will have experience in the exhibition design & build sector with excellent communication skills both written and verbal, and will be confident, proactive and diplomatic in their sales approach. An ambitious character who is not afraid to collaborate and contribute ideas will be especially successful in this position, and a keen understanding of the events industry is essential.
