Our client, a big agency name in the data driven direct communications world, is looking for a solid Account Director to join this new team who are committed to providing their client with a fully integrated offering. The nature of this pan-European account means you'll work on a variety of brands for this consumer product, channels (both ATL and BTL) and challenges.

The AD needs to have a solid background in direct communications and a good understanding across multiple channels.

Primarily, you’ll be overseeing the day to day delivery across the account in this role.  You’ll be responsible for delivering first-class creative work through the agency and managing a team of 5 SAMs, AMs and Execs.  In addition, you will be required to support the Business Director and Strategy Director in ensuring strategy is followed through from concepts to artwork, as well as get involved in strategic projects as required.

You will be a strategic minded self-starter, with bags of personality and ambition, but also with an ability to roll your sleeves up and support the team in whatever is needed.  You will be inquisitive and tenacious in sniffing out new opportunities and positive in your approach, but also happy delivering excellent work for existing clients.

An ability to juggle multiple projects and clients, keep calm under pressure and manage up as well as down, are key skills needed.

You will have financial acumen and be comfortable in working with the BD to forecast the year ahead, as well as keeping tight controls of the finances of each account in conjunction with the team.

You’ll have an appreciation for creative, its interpretation and be skilled in the communication of this.

You’ll have experience and be comfortable in working with cross-functional teams, agency partners and ideally have integrated agency experience.
