Location: London Farringdon twice a week with some travel to our Nottingham office monthly

We are looking for an experienced Social Paid Media Manager to join the E.ON Next Marketing team. Taking responsibility for performance media from strategy to execution, you’ll be working alongside commercial and marketing towards direct-to-site customer acquisition and retention targets.

You’ll take responsibility for determining lower-funnel media strategy that drives quality traffic and conversion, seeking re-targeting and cross-selling opportunities through collaboration with your peers. Your understanding of the full funnel means you’ll leverage and actively steer above-the-line media partners to maximise performance. You’ll be working alongside the in-house creative team to fulfil media plans, drive optimisations through A/B testing, enjoy pushing creative boundaries and own performance reporting in weekly stakeholder meetings. Here’s a taste of what you’ll be doing

  • Developing media plans in accordance with business objectives

  • Defining adequate customer targeting and campaign framework in relevant platforms

  • Setting Google Analytics funnels and optimisations towards optimum campaign tracking

  • Campaign fulfilment in collaboration with in-house creative team

  • Daily keyword analysis and bidding optimisation

  • Managing annual budget with transparency

  • Proactively optimising the conversion funnel in collaboration with Front-end, Creative, Marketing and e-commerce team

  • Owning reporting to wider stakeholder group, highlighting optimising opportunities and risks

  • Maintaining a leading brand impression share in-category

  • Strong collaboration with other Paid Media Managers for a holistic funnel approach to performance media and avoiding audience cannibalisation

  • Agile campaign planning and optimisation in light of changing market conditions

  • Collaborating with ATL media agency to effectively amplify other channel activity

  • Building and maintaining relationships with Platform partners such as Google

  • Striving for media excellence by sharing best-practice with Marketing and Creative teams

Are we a match?

We’re looking a someone with the following experience and skills;

  • Proven experience in developing media strategy and execution

  • Ability to own comprehensive reporting and data analysis

  • Proven record of driving acquisition and retention media metrics

  • Ability to adapt strategy to changing priorities and market conditions

  • Excellent knowledge of social media platforms such as Meta, X and Linkedin

  • Proficient knowledge of Google Analytics

  • Comfortable challenging the status quo

  • Comfortable with full autonomy and start-up environment

  • Experience with test-learn approach to campaigning

  • Proven ability managing large media budgets

  • Experience managing stakeholders

  • Ability to handle multiple work-streams at pace

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Experience in social platform is a plus

  • Knowledge of energy industry is a plus
