Role:Marketing Manager (Temporary)
Reports to:Commercial Director Extracts EMEA & Asia
The Mission
Our client has a unique and integrated global footprint in the beverage industry and has a rapid growth in the industry.
The ideal candidate's mission will be to drive the marketing initiatives for the tea & coffee extracts in Europe (mainly) and support the commercial team to deliver the company's growth objective by providing targeted, relevant and consistent marketing insights and support to their customers.
Job Responsibility
*Understand the tea and coffee category drivers and trends; identify with affiliates and commercial teams future opportunities, help turn these opportunities into actionable projects through qualification and inclusion in pipeline.
*Support commercial and technical team to ensure the right portfolio of tea, coffee and herbal extracts & solutions for RTD Beverages is available and promote accordingly.
*Develop the right promotion tools to sell our expertise and uniqueness (focus product portfolio, USPs, exciting concepts, newsletters) with the proper push to sales.
*Coordinate the preparation and development of exhibition stands at trade shows such as DrinkTec, Food Ingredients Europe, Food Matters Live.
*Track effectiveness and get learning for future improvements.
*Ensure proper client briefs execution by providing the right targeted marketing support to clients.
*Work with sales to build strong client relationships, understand targeted clients' strategies, priorities and brands and provide them with the most relevant product solutions.
*Participate actively to cross-segments/cross-categories marketing initiatives to further develop marketing expertise and beverage/consumer knowledge.
Future Role Opportunities, if the position becomes permanent:
*Support the leaf team and integrate the approach for a customer focused strategy.
*Act as a partner for building and deployment of a global tea & coffee strategy, exchange regional insights/needs/tools/pipeline regularly with global business unit and other regions.
* Education: Marketing or business education or food science/technology.
* Experience: 5+ years working experience in marketing or commercial positions in the beverages industry or relevant ingredients industry. Tea & Coffee knowledge is clearly an asset.
* Skills:
*Strong interpersonal and communication skills
*Good project management, analytical and organisational skills
*Business acumen and proactive mindset
*Ability to make effective and impactful presentations internally externally
*Fluent in English. A second language is a plus
*Expertise in digital marketing will be valued
*Proficient in MS Office applications
*Familiarity working with insight sources - GNPD, Canadean, Euromonitor etc.
*Enthusiastic, proactive and capable of motivating others.
*Strong team player able to partner with people from different functions.
*Flexible to travel within Europe
