PR & Content Co-Ordinator
Our client has grown to be a leading corporate clothing provider with an impressive list of international clients. From their Derbyshire headquarters, they dress millions of workers around the world.
They have a fantastic opportunity for a PR & Content Co-ordinator to join their Marketing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering marketing content through online and offline channels. You will also provide assistance in the development, delivery and analysis of PR campaigns using both print and social media.
With guidance from the Marketing Manager, create engaging written content for press releases, social media channels and for use on the company’s website including the blog and news section.
Develop content calendar and increase LinkedIn, Twitter and Instagram following by implementing social media best practice methods.
Assist with the creation of multimedia content that can be amplified on the web and through social media channels.
Create and maintain sector specific media database and liaise with trade journals accordingly.
With guidance from the Marketing Manager, develop a bank of press releases & quotes for reactive opportunities.
Investigate Awards and Association opportunities to raise brand awareness.
Investigate profile opportunities for key senior people and assist with copy creation where appropriate.
Track competitor activity and keep up-to-date with the communications mix used by competitors, both on and offline, and include findings in monthly report.
Undertake social media analysis for the competitive set and include findings in monthly report.
Develop sector case studies based on key USPs and issue to target media; utilise as part of sector campaign pack.
Work with internal teams to collate information and check accuracy of detail to be included in marketing materials.
Assist with the planning and execution of events such as conferences, seminars, receptions and exhibitions.
Assist with the delivery of a biennial knowledge sharing event for current and prospective customers to demonstrate that the business is a thought-leader.
Assist with the creation of additional marketing collateral, such as flyers, brochures, branded merchandise and event-related materials to support marketing events.
Ensure appropriate costing codes are recorded on all expenses, and invoices for sign off ensuring spend can be evaluated fully and all budgets met.
Key skills & abilities:
Graduate calibre or equivalent with previous experience of working in a similar B2B role.
Working knowledge of social media channels and understanding of best practice methods to increase following and engagement.
Good commercial awareness with the ability to understand target audiences.
Proactive in suggesting new ideas to improve processes and marketing performance.
Excellent command of written English with copy accuracy.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office is essential. Previous experience working with Adobe Creative Suite would be advantageous.
