We are working with a luxury perfume brand, who are seeking an E-commerce Manager to join their fast expanding in-house team.  You will strive to develop the brand online through the smooth management of its in-house systems, processes and external development support.
" Own customer website journey and increase on-site conversion by managing ongoing web development projects, efficiently and on budget.
" Log any website issues with external development team and monitor resolution of problems efficiently.
" Ensure a great customer experience on site: continually audit for issues; recommend and implement enhancements to improve customer experience.
" Oversee and take accountability for smooth running of product import process.
" Own, develop and enforce the visual merchandising strategy and product alignment across the business.
" Work closely with the Buying & Merchandising/PR team to maximise sell-through and ensure Product / Designer coherence.
" Implement and manage seasonal on-site promotions and sale campaigns on a regional and global level.
" Own and manage staging environment and replication to production.
" Liaise with the content production team and manage studio to ensure product imagery is turned around as fast as possible and optimised for the site.
Manage imagery approval process and upload.
" Work with the Operations Manager to identify and resolve any operational issues including stock discrepancies.
" Assist with user acceptance testing and approve changes.
" Use analytics to understand current performance and customer shopping behaviour and define opportunities for site improvements.
" Ensure business users are trained on use of ecommerce platform and provide support.
" Keep the business updated on competitor activity both from a trading perspective and new site functionality; make recommendations for change and project manage implementations.
" Efficient, organised and commercially aware with a good understanding of the beauty industry, preferably with experience in luxury.
" Logical thinker and problem solver, with the ability to work under pressure, identify issues and resolve them in a timely manner.
" Good understanding of website taxonomy, UX, & online visual merchandising.
" Highly computer literate with good Excel skills; knowledge of html would be beneficial.
" Good English with proofreading skills.
" Flexible, proactive and open to change.
" Ability to see a task through to the end, with a keen eye for detail.
" Pro-active, self-confident, highly motivated team player.
" Experience in retail ecommerce, beauty is desirable.
