Production Traffic Manager
Our client is a leading supplier to the transportation, industrial and consumer markets. They have a great opportunity for a Production Traffic Manager to join their global communications team in Derbyshire to cover a fixed term 12 month contract.
Supported by designers, photographers, marketing and project management, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing workloads and delivering projects with internal and external resources on a global scale, to ensure that projects are assigned, critical information is shared, and timelines and budgets are met.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide support to the Global Communications business and by extension its customers, internal and external.
Plan projects from inception to delivery.
Liaise with external suppliers, manage production and distribution.
Deliver projects on time and to budget.
Supply consultative approach across the business.
Degree in communications, marketing, business or creative.
Proven experience in traffic/production management.
Working knowledge of Microsoft software.
Advanced knowledge of print production and materials.
Advanced knowledge of support functions - digital, web, photography, video.
Advanced knowledge of events and exhibitions.
Excellent organisation skills.
Experience of a Digital Asset Management / Work In Progress Software desirable but training will be provided.
Good negotiating skills.
Budget management skills.
Communication and presentation skills when interacting with clients.
