I'm looking for a Brand Manager to join one of our clients based in Birmingham. They've grown significantly over the past ten years - traditionally as a B2B provider of kitchenware - and now with recent investment they are working on streamlining their brand structure in order to actively develop the consumer side of their business. Great opportunity for a forward thinking Brand Manager who can develop and nurture a portfolio of key brands, utilising the full marketing mix

Role & Responsibilities:
*Managing a portfolio of brands; defining individual propositions for each brand in your portfolio from creating pen portraits to consumer road maps
*Create engaging consumer targeted communications
*Create the trade selling story with compelling rationale and positioning
*Develop brand plans for in-store campaigns, from merchandising concepts, to ranging and POS
*Enhance brand engagement with inspiring social and web content
*Identify new product development opportunities through monitoring consumer demographics and insights
*Act as brand guardian, implement positioning for each to develop brand equity
*Analyse and report on channel, product and brand performance in line with activity and ROI
*Work with the Marketing Director, Visual Merchandiser and external design agencies and photographers to produce offline content

The Ideal Candidate will have:
*Strong brand management experience - through defining the brand proposition to creative execution and delivery
*Experience in retail marketing, consumer durables or FMCG - demonstrable expertise in product and instore communications e.g. packaging and POS
*An understanding of channel management
*Experience of creative briefing to agencies, photographers and stylists, including extensive copywriting
*A commercial and practical mind-set - creativity balanced with consideration for implementation and ROI
*An ability to juggle multiple projects on an on-going basis and meet tight deadlines through efficient organisational skills
*Enthusiasm and a pro-active work ethic with the personality to enjoy working in a dynamic and fast paced environment
*Willingness to work on their own initiative within a busy team and under pressure of tight deadlines
