Our client is a marketing & communications agency based in beautiful offices in Surrey who provide innovative solutions for a host of blue chip clients across automotive, IT/technology and healthcare sectors. One of their core offerings is Geomarketing - providing powerful and intuitive software and services to support location planning and network development for automotive manufacturers both in the UK and internationally.

They are now recruiting an Account Manager to join their Geomarketing team. You will support in delivering client service excellence and meeting the needs of clients, including preparing client briefs, day-to-day project management and working across all digital disciplines on a portfolio of their geo marketing clients.

About the Job:

  • Manage the project management process, turning briefs into reality and ensuring deadlines are met
  • Handle new/existing accounts, developing solid business relationships with clients through regular and pro-active contact to maximise opportunities and profitability
  • Manage and motivate Account Executives, delegating work and educating them in all areas of delivery
  • Monitor workflow through the team and make recommendations for modifications where appropriate
  • Present proposal work, budget and timing plans to clients
  • Work closely with the commercial lead to deliver effective forecasting to meet the account targets
  • To actively seek new business opportunities within your existing clients

About You:

  • Previous experience in Geomarketing would be advantageous - but is not essential
  • Automotive experience agency / supplier side would be highly advantageous
  • Confident, ambitious and energetic with initiative and a persuasive manner
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and pro-actively
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail to deliver to client expectation
  • Positive interpersonal, team building and relationship management skills
  • Effective written communication, presentation skills and negotiation skills
