Social Media Account Manager, Central London

2 Month Contract

A leading social media agency is on the lookout for an Account Manager to join the team, the agency work with a wide selection of clients on high quality, cutting edge social media campaigns. 

As Senior Account Manager you will be part of the social media team who direct the owned, earned, shared and paid activity to ensure clients are offered the highest quality service and accounts remain profitable.  This role will focus more on paid social, you will manage the team of paid media traders to ensure effective and efficient planning of paid campaigns. The role will be heavily client facing, managing client expectations and making sure they understand the benefits of paid social and how it can help them achieve their aims.  The agency work on cutting edge projects, so you will be expected to be on top of new trends and platforms and helping identify innovative, inspiring paid social strategy. As an AM you will also be involved in new business, pitching and account development.

Candidates will need paid social media experience as well as experience of wider social media strategy and how utilisation of a wide range of social platforms can work for clients.  Candidates should come from an agency background and have experience working with multiple clients on a variety of different campaigns.

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage paid social activity Build and develop relationship with paid social partners ( make me reach, 4c, Social Moov ) Building and maintaining client accounts Paid social strategy  Manage team of paid media traders Developing plans for clients, helping client understand benefits of paid social Ensuring paid social campaigns are of the highest quality, in-line with client expectations Ensure 360 coverage of social media platforms for clients Keeping on top of emerging trends, creating innovative social strategy New business, pitching and account development Analysis and insights of data for clients, with assistance of data team

Experience required:

  • 3+ years paid social media experience Experience leading large, high profile client accounts Knowledge of social API tech platforms Solid team leadership and people management skills Deep knowledge and understanding of social media, specifically the paid and organic landscape and how all elements of social media can work together alongside a wider digital marketing mix Accomplished client manager with proven track record developing accounts Pitching and new business experience Passion for digital and social media Ability to deliver social media campaigns
