Content Manager

Content Editor

We have a unique and fantastic opportunity to work as a Content Editor, working for a business which has been established in the UK for over 20years, and who have experienced continuous year on year growth. Our client sits in the spirits industry and as such we are looking for a creative genius from this industry

The main responsibility for the role will be to create a body of content which is informative and engaging enough to give people a reason to visit the website, even if they're not currently in the market for our client's products; one of those websites that enthusiasts have bookmarked to have a look at whilst eating their lunch or thinking of holidays!

It's a big job. There's a lot to write about; so you'll definitely need to work with, develop, and grow the content team to get it all done. You'll also need to develop a wide roster of contributors to be called upon to supply content during periods of high demand.

There will be a lot of field work in this role; attending product launches and other press conferences, conducting interviews, and other things that get you out from behind your desk and into the big wide world…...which means that you'll need to demonstrate that you're capable of doing that. You need to be confident and well-presented, and knowledgeable enough to hold your own in a conversation with the great and good of the industry.

You might have had a career in journalism, or maybe you've been involved in the wines and spirits industry in some other capacity and have run a personal blog on the side, but either way, you're going to be able to show us written work that you've got out there on the internet.

We are looking for someone from the spirits industry and in return you will be rewarded with free samples aplenty, a slick and quirky working environment, excellent benefits, and a pretty good basic salary as well…..and did we mention the 7 duvet days a year- maybe a good idea with all the sampling!
