We are seeking a Head of Marketing and Communications for a maternity cover assignment, up to one year, to lead our multi-disciplinary marketing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing within the education sector and be adept at multi-channel marketing campaign planning, execution, and reporting. This role requires the ability to work under pressure, be proactive, and utilise digital channels to generate insights that inform marketing strategies.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Lead a multi-disciplinary marketing team to meet deadlines and KPIs.
- Plan, execute, and report on multi-channel marketing campaigns.
- Develop event plans and strategies.
- Work under pressure and maintain a proactive approach to marketing challenges.
- Use Google Analytics and other digital channels to generate insights, creating and adapting plans and practices accordingly.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience leading a marketing team in the education sector.
- Demonstrated ability to plan and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns.
- Skilled in leading on event plans and strategies.
- Proficient in using Google Analytics and other digital channels for insights.
- Ability to work under pressure and be proactive.
Desirable Criteria:
- Membership of a relevant professional body (e.g., CIM) with a relevant professional qualification or CPD programme completion.
- Experience in developing content strategy.
- Knowledge of Photoshop and Dotmailer.
- Understanding of UK Government policies in education.
Working Hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 08:30 – 17:00
- Friday: 08:30 – 15:30
