PR and Social Media Manager (Part Time)

Location: LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort, Windsor, SL4 4AY, office-based onsite

Hours: 22.5 hours per week, working Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday (job share)

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced PR and Social Media Manager to join the team here at the LEGOLAND Windsor Resort on a part-time basis (job share, 3 set days per week)!

As the PR and Social Media Manager at the LEGOLAND Windsor Resort you will work closely with the Head of PR, and your job share counterpart, to develop and deliver our PR strategy, engaging social media campaigns, activations, and exciting events. You will drive and develop positive publicity across a wide range of channels from TV to radio, and social media to print media.

You will work closely with the PR budget, tracking effective and efficient usage of costs, and lead the evaluation of PR and social media against the initial project objectives.

Ultimately you will use your previous experience to support the wider resort in delivering the highest standards of guest interactions, creating memorable visits and inspiring future visits to the LEGOLAND Windsor Resort!

Please note this role includes an “on call” function, which will include up to two weekends per month in addition to your set working days.

About You

  • 5+ years’ external communications experience within a PR agency or in-house PR/Marketing team
  • Excellent working knowledge of the UK media, with established portfolio of media contacts
  • Proficient in social media marketing, with experience of social media management tools
  • You should have previously managed a budget and worked with external agencies in a cost effective manner
  • Naturally you will be an excellent communicator, with a confident and comprehensive style of communication and the ability to respond appropriately to complex issues as they arise
  • Having previously worked in a fast-paced environment you will be well versed in meeting tight deadlines, influencing business stakeholders and have a flexible, agile approach to evolving priorities

About the LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort

We are looking for a PR and Social Media Manager to join our AWESOME team at the UK’s favourite children’s theme park; the LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort. The LEGOLAND Windsor Resort is the ultimate destination for families with children age 2-12. The Resort is home to two awesome LEGO themed Hotels and a host of rides, shows and attractions built around the iconic LEGO® brick. This role is based at the Windsor theme park, located in 150 acres of beautiful parkland.
