Business Development Manager – Digital Platforms
Our client based in Reading, is looking to take on a proven and self motivated Business Development Manager.
Duties
- Identify and maximise sales opportunities for a Digital Learning Delivery Platform, and On-Demand Print and fulfilment needs.
- Winning business by establishing, maintaining and utilising a wide contacts network, the successful candidate must demonstrate that they can engage with key business decision makers to secure profitable new business sales.
- Provide feedback from prospective customers and existing customers to further develop the product and solution format to meet and exceed potential clients’ needs.
- Exceed annual target revenue and profitability.
- Dedicated New Business focussed role.
- Develop and manage partner opportunities.
- Establish, maintain and develop key relationships within prospective customers’ organisations.
- Work to establish and maintain an effective Business Winning programme to secure New Business for theCompany.
- Lead the preparation, submission and any follow up bids, quotations, and proposals to secure all New Businessfor the Company.
Experience
- 5+ years experience in a similar role, with proven success of hitting and exceeding sales targets, commission led.
- Experience in selling software and solutions in companies that train.
- Experience of selling Digital Platforms for content delivery
- Submitting and following up bids, quotations, and proposals
- Proven track record of b2b sales wins and new market development within one or all of the following sectors – IT, Training, Education or Learning.
- A consultative approach, driven to excel and self-motivated.
- Proven track record of managing a geographical patch
- Proven track record of engaging with business decision makers
- Excellent Interpersonal skills
- Good influencing and persuasion skills
- High expectations of self and others
Salary
- Basic salary up to £40,000
- Car Allowance
- Uncapped Commission Plan
