Brand new role with a global organisation, a real leader in their sector at a time of huge UK growth.
Our client has been established for over fifty years, with a base in the UK since the mid '90s, and is a global player in their niche arena within the business-to-business market. The organisation within the UK is continuing to thrive and because of this they are creating a new Product Manager position which will involve some international travel. Reporting to the Head of Marketing you will be the first person within this brand new team, which will grow over time, working in conjunction with UK marketing supporting company and International group wide product development. This role offers a real challenge for a business-value minded individual who can qualify product ideas that have either been identified by you, or presented by other stakeholders. You will spend time in the field with the Sales team, liaising with installers, resellers and specifiers, as well as utilising market intelligence apps to bring feedback directly into the business. You will also work as the liaison between the UK subsidiary and the Global Product Manager of the parent organisation, defining UK specific product requirements and championing these to ensure the UK voice is heard. Naturally you will be involved with researching and analysing markets and sectors, and will undertake market research as well as managing the product lifecycle of new and existing products.
What we're looking for
We're looking for a graduate (or similar) with at least 2 years' experience within product management, ideally gained from a technical product perspective. Candidates with experience from the construction or interiors sectors would be at a distinct advantage. You must be able to demonstrate evidence of successful product management and life-cycle management, and will be a motivator, capable of working with the highest echelons of the business. You must be happy to undertake international travel, with at least 3 European trips planned for next year and one to North America, and will be able to work well under pressure.

Salary will be between £29-32,000 + KPI related bonus, laptop and phone, as well as 25 days holiday and pension.
