BIDS PRICING AND BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
The purpose of this role is to support the client facing sales and business development activity across this international law firm's core sectors and services. The role is based out of London but will involve working with colleagues in the marketing and BD functions in the firm's international offices. This role will focus on Bids, pricing and Business Development activity in that order of priority and will form a core part of a new 'Commercial Team' jointly with finance team members.
This is a key hire for the firm which will see you working with key internal stakeholders (partners, CFO, BD Director) as well as external suppliers and sponsors. You will be responsible for managing the firm's pipeline of opportunities, taking a lead on pricing to include engaging in client facing pricing discussions, and working with the BD Managers to support the winning of new business from existing and target clients.
The ideal person for this role will have significant bids, pricing and business development experience from with the legal or other professional services sector. Experience of organising and maintaining a bids and pricing back office including pitch toolkit; pricing collateral and know-how and related systems and knowledge banks is essential.
