This is a fantastic opportunity to join a world leading media organisation specialising in Events and business information. They currently work in over in 40 countries, across 47 industries worldwide.

They have an exciting opportunity to work as part of a busy in-house digital team responsible for providing support and digital expertise to the event teams, who are responsible for producing and delivering highly successful events across the globe.

You will assist with the on-going maintenance of a portfolio of over 40 event websites including uploading content, providing day to day support to the event teams, building landing pages, modifying email templates and applying HTML and CSS fixes.

We are looking for someone with strong HTML, CSS and JavaScript skills with a passion for digital. Knowledge of building business webpages to compliment current digital marketing techniques is a must with an emphasis on user experience and customer journey. Experience of working with HTML email templates is also a requirement. You must be enthusiastic and a keen learner who is self-motivated and can use their initiative in this fast changing environment.


Key responsibilities:

• Day to day running of event websites using the content management system (Episerver) so you can set up basic and complex functionalities

• Be first point of contact for the event marketing teams to assist them in setting up pages, media types such as graphics and video, and functionality on the website including any front end styling

• Build and maintenance of HTML email templates including third party

• Build and maintenance of Wordpress sites to support the move to a more integrated content approach

• Creation and testing of landing pages with an understanding of user journey and experience

• Build e-commerce websites and platforms in order to support the move to a more digitally enabled business

• Be a key member of the digital marketing team, leading by example, proactively working to deliver significant return, share best and be an ambassador for all things digital

• Support user acceptance testing to ensure new products and features are accepted into the business

• Support across the digital marketing function, as appropriate, with required tasks and requests


Key Skills:


• Strong HTML and CSS skills

• Experience in building business webpages to compliment current digital marketing techniques with a focus on  user experience and customer journey

• Experience of content management systems, you must be a quick learner with a technical mind

• Experience in coding HTML emails

• Experience in working with integrated digital systems is preferable

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical functions and features in simple marketing terms

• Attention to detail and a thorough work ethic

• JavaScript




• EpiServer

• Previous experience with Photoshop and other Adobe products
