Main Role

Milton-Lloyd’s Online/Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for all aspects of the company’s digital communication (3 websites) and social media strategy and provide specialist knowledge and skills in the integration and application of digital channels into the company’s overall communication strategy. This role will involve providing insightful analytics to demonstrate the effectiveness of the digital communications to the directors of the company as well as provide best-practice communications advice and solutions. Effectiveness of digital communications will be measured also against sales targets.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and create SEO-optimised copy for a range of platforms in the form of blogs, tweets and product description
  • Email campaigns – set up, distribute, monitor and analyse
  • Social media – content creation, monitoring for mentions, managing diary, customer service/engagement and insight analysis across all major platforms, such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube and Pinterest
  • Blogs – writing creative, exciting and relevant blogs for both internal and external use
  • Using CRM to maximize online marketing opportunities
  • PPC campaign management – keyword research, campaign set up, monitoring and reporting
  • Implement and maintain SEO strategies as well as conduct SEO audits and competitor analysis
  • Use Google analytics to analyse and report on key digital marketing campaigns
  • Provide customer service to any online queries
  • Ensure KPI’s are met across all digital marketing activities - Collate and report back monthly on performance statistics for all digital communications across all channels, using these statistics to influence future activity
  • Liaise with in house designers to create online marketing material
  • Keeping up to date with changes and advances in social media and advising on new channels and approaches to adopt
  • Keep abreast of our Amazon account and work on it when necessary

Skills Required

  • BA degree in English, Journalism, Business, Media or similar subject (or extensive experience)
  • Extensive experience in digital communication channels including customer facing websites
  • Previous blogging and online copywriting experience (preferable)
  • Proven knowledge of applying SEO techniques and social media strategy
  • Strong working knowledge of the major analytics programs – specifically Google analytics
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop & Mailchimp
  • Involvement with best best-practice, new developments and wider debates in the communications arena eg: online forums
  • Experience of working on an Amazon account (preferable)
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Creativity
