PR Manager

This is a pivotal role as the PR & Communications Manager and the first media point of contact within the company. This is an excellent & exciting opportunity for an experienced and confident PR senior executive/junior manager to join one of the UK's leading technology led homes and gardens brand.


The Role:
·To devise and implement strategic external comms plans covering media and PR activities across the group
·Research stories, liaise with journalists at national and regional levels and develop positive relationships
·Develop proactive and creative campaigns and organise and develop media interest for shows and events
·Develop content strategy across all channels including social media in addition to regular contributions and maximise effectiveness of reviews and awards and product launches
·Work with our PR agency to ensure brand and message consistency

Skills/Requirements
·Ideally demonstrable 5 years PR experience
·The ability to build and maintain strong media relationships with consumer media, trade press, national newspapers, websites, forums and bloggers
·Excellent verbal and written skills together with excellent presentation and networking skills.
·Understanding of the latest PR research and reporting tools and adept at reporting and implementing social media strategies
·Can do attitude with an ability to work in a fast paced environment
·Driving licence and willingness to travel are essential.
