We are looking for an exceptional Marketing and Business Development Manager to work with the Private Wealth teams of this high profile Professional Services firm. The Business Development Manager will provide support and guidance to fee earners responsible for increasing business within the firm by securing and increasing more profitable work from existing referrers and targeted prospects.

You will develop and then drive business development strategies (at both a national and regional basis) for the Private Wealth service line. This could include the establishment of sales targets. The strategic objectives are to:
*Maximise profitable revenue from existing business relationships
*Develop B2b relationships in agreed markets and sectors to generate new business
*New business acquisition in agreed markets and sectors
*To develop and build reciprocation relationships with intermediaries (national and regional) to ensure that the Family service line is able to maximise its intermediary relationships to obtain work
*To identify new business opportunities (B2b and B2c) and act as 'the middle man' in nurturing B2b relationships
*Work with Group Marketing to provide market intelligence to the Service Line to assist in developing and then achieving the agreed BD objectives. This will include utilising and interpreting internal and external business/market data and monitoring and assessing new business performance against agreed targets.
*Attend networking and associated BD events and external functions
*To develop, own and manage communication and marketing strategies to raise profile within the agreed positioning and within the agreed markets and sectors.

The successful candidate will have experience in sales and driving business development strategy. An understanding of the legal or professional services sector would be highly beneficial. Experience of using market intelligence and shared information ensuring close monitoring, recording, tracking and feedback relating to market and client activity is key.
