Marketing Coordinator, top Golf/Country Club, Gtr Manchester, to £25k
The Organisation: A high-profile and prestigious Golf and Country Club with excellent hospitality and event facilities.
The Role: A Marketing, Events and Membership Coordinator to promote and market the Club’s first-class facilities, for both corporate and private hire. Key responsibilities:
·CRM. Management of the Club’s membership database, with a view to member retention and liaison.
·PR and marketing communications, offline and online
·Advertising and email campaigns– delivering e-shots and other activities to promote the Club’s corporate hospitality facilities
·Digital marketing and social media - managing the blog, twitter feed and Facebook account etc.
·Event coordination - managing and facilitating events, either personally or (for larger events) in conjunction with events companies and other third-party suppliers etc.
·Regular liaison with support agencies and suppliers
·Preparation of regular reports on membership trends, event event RoI, hospitality revenue and other KPIs etc.
·Provide other general marketing and administration support, as required.
The Ideal Candidate will be a marketing or communications graduate with a minimum two years' prior marketing career experience, ideally within a sports, leisure or membership services organisation. Strong all- round IT ability - and especially digital marketing and social media - are required. To be considered you must also be self-starting, flexible, dynamic, results-driven and highly attentive to detail. First class communication skills – verbal and written - are essential, as is the ability to multi-task effectively under pressure.
The position is based in Greater Manchester, easily accessible via the M60, M6 and M62. The role will ideally suit a driver with their own vehicle although the Metro tram station is approx’ 15 minutes’ walk.
