My client is a dynamic and forward thinking professional services firm with a strong reputation and an appetite for growth. They are looking for an exceptional Marketing and Business Development Manager to support the Partners in their all business development opportunities to ensure all existing clients are retained and revenue maximised. You will also identify opportunities for new work from prospects and existing clients as well as lead the delivery of and tracking of designated areas to support client attraction, acquisition and retention strategies.
Business Development Manager Key responsibilities
*Work closely with Heads of service lines to implement and manage agreed business development initiatives, :
oPreparation of business plans and pipelines
oResearching clients and markets
oNew Product Development
oEvaluating business development opportunities
oIdentifying growth opportunities within existing clients and market sectors
oSupport Directory submissions
oContribute to Thought leadership collateral
*Introduce measures to monitor the effectiveness of all business development activity.
*Provide coaching/mentoring support for Partners on business development activity and identify where there are training needs.
*Work closely with the Communications team to develop and implement campaigns to provide revenue generation
The person specification
Key skills & experience
Over three year's business development experience in professional services or wealth management.
*Strong analytical skills. Commercially aware and astute.
*A self-starter, who can work on own initiative.
*Proactive in developing ideas and solutions.
*Well developed project and time management skills plus organisational skills.
*Well developed persuading and influencing skills, with the ability to manage at a senior level without having direct line responsibility.
