Global Business Development Manager
MET are delighted to be recruiting for this global manufacturer who combined with strong UK growth are now achieving great new market penetration in international markets.
This role requires an experienced business development professional who can lead new business approaches to potential customers and oversee management and growth of the account. You will identify, research and win new market distribution opportunities within new International markets, developing a realistic and time-bound plan to target these opportunities, in line with the growth plans for the Global channel.
Working closely with the Head of Global Sales to ensure alignment of growth strategies, as well as the Product Development/Marketing teams, you will ensure the portfolio offering is market led and the communication tools will 'open doors' for new prospective customers/channels.
You will also form strong working relationships with our customers' key decision makers and influencers within the key business functions including Buying, Supply Chain, Marketing and Logistics.
In order to be considered for this position you must have a successful background in international business development and also have experienced of working on, and growin accounts.
THis New Business Development role is a home-based role and will involved regular trips abroad. In return there is a competitive package, a company car and fuel card, and a home support package.
