Client Relationship Manager
Client Relationship Manager role for a leading global law firm. This is a newly created role as part of a growing key account team, and works closely with the wider BD and marketing team. The firm is a global market leader that recognises the value its BD team provide, and there is little divide between the fee earners and support teams.
As Client Relationship Manager, you will be responsible for managing a handful of the firm’s most prestigious global clients. This is both a strategic and hands on role, that will be very client facing. As part of the role, you will be expected to research, monitor and track clients to ensure the firm builds and maintains the very strongest relationships. Responsibilities on a day to day basis will include pitching, client research, mapping of clients, sharing of information across the key accounts, pricing strategies and team structure, coming up with cross sell and business development initiatives to increase revenue, and ensuring the partners are constantly kept abreast of the client’s commercial activities that may influence the relationship. This is an exciting role for someone that enjoys growing clients and really integrating themselves with the partners.
Essential skills for this role are the ability to push partners to develop relationships, as well as the commercial acumen to see things from a client’s perspective. You must be able to demonstrate experience of key account management within a law firm or other similar professional services firm, such as accountancy.
