Your new role
You will be planning, developing, and implementing PR activities that support the delivery of the marketing and communications strategy. Your role will involve liaising with key spokespeople, stakeholders and internal contacts. You will act as the main point of initial contact from the media, individuals and organisations. Day to day you will be researching, writing and distributing press releases to targeted media, keeping the website updated, and utilising digital media to support PR campaigns. You will be involved in PR event management, and managing photo and interview opportunities. There will also be an element of collating and analysing media coverage, providing regular reports to the executive team. You will be the lead in the production of films, photography and managing the media libraries, while also doing the writing and editing in-house and external newsletters, supporting campaigns as required.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need experience of media and press relations, PR event management, and press release writing skills. You will need experience with Google Analytics, social media, email marketing, CRM, stakeholder management, and content management systems. You will also need the ability to manage data and extrapolate evidence to strengthen communications.
What you'll get in return
In return you will receive £25,000 per annum, 25 days annual leave, rising to 27 days after 2 years' service (plus 8 Bank Holidays), childcare vouchers and a pension scheme.
