B2B PR Account Director
An independent, full-service B2B PR and marketing communications consultancy, is looking for an experienced B2B PR Account Director, to work with clients both in the UK and overseas.
A key part of the role will be planning, organising and controlling day-to-day work on a range of client accounts, which cover different sectors, from energy & construction to health, food and nutrition. It will also include working across different marketing touchpoints, such as digital and content, in addition to overseeing a small team, managing budgets, timescales and proposals. You will also be accountable for maintaining close relationships with clients, understanding client objectives and evaluating them, both strategically and tactically, and developing good relationships with media, as well as motivating and guiding your team.
What we're looking for
To be considered for the role, you will need at least five to six years' experience of PR and marketing in an agency environment, with at least two years' experience operating at a senior level, as well as an ability to manage a team of execs and managers. You must be able to demonstrate excellent writing, reporting, presentation, and project management skills; you will also be expected to build and maintain knowledge of production procedures, terminology, and issues pertaining to the relevant industries and sectors. You should have sound commercial skills, team management and leadership ability.
