Senior Brand Manager

Working for a global organisation we are looking for a Senior Brand Manager, this role in the product & portfolio team will support the Senior Marketing Manager in driving the strategic long term direction of the product and portfolio for their brands across the UK.

This role will support in the delivery of the product and portfolio plans working with the rest of the product & portfolio team as well as interdependent marketing teams and functions both locally and globally.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to further their career, carrying out the following role;

  • *Development and Execution of Portfolio Activation Plan in partnership with Communications & Category Teams
  • *Ongoing management of Product Portfolio including identification of portfolio gaps
  • *Support the Senior Marketing Manager on identified strategic portfolio projects
  • *Develop a National Promotional Plan for the given product portfolio within Professional Channel.
  • *Management of Identified NPD Projects though gate process across both the portfolio above and other product areas when required.

The successful person to this role will be able to demonstrate;

  • o Educated to Bachelor's degree level.
  • o Exposure to marketing in high performing business and in managing multiple categories & or brands.
  • o Experience at Junior level in an FMCG or OTC company / Drinks / Retailer or DIY industry company in product or brand marketing or cross functional experience in sales or category marketing.
  • oExposure to working within a matrix organisational structure and influencing Global Stakeholders.

Marketing Competencies:

  • Exposure to Marketing Strategy and Planning
  • Experienced in P&L Management, Stage Gate and S&OP/IBP Process.
  • Understanding of Product & Portfolio management and good technical understanding
  • Advocate the voice of the customer/consumer in the product development process.
  • Commercial awareness and cross functional understanding in respect to impact on product & portfolio.
  • Experienced in Brand Activation and Project Management
  • Strong numeric ability.
