Are you an experienced consultative Media Sales professional with experience selling print and digital media advertising solutions? If so we have a great opportunity for a Media Sales Executive based at a leading international media group in the Croydon area, selling across a large portfolio.
Responsibilities as a Media Sales Executive:
Sales on the telephone and face to face around the UK and regularly overseasIdentify and acquire new customers to increase revenue and market share, with a focus on digital, content marketing and bespoke solutionsIdentify new product opportunitiesMaintain and grow a number of existing accounts and build relationships with those clients Assist the Commercial Director in planning and production of the magazineAssist the Commercial Director and/or work with Account Manager to project manage events and bespoke client solutionsProduce reports and analyse projectsAttend industry events and shows around the UK and regularly overseasDevelop a strong understanding of the marketReview and monitor competitor publications, exhibitions, websites and information providers
Requirements of a Media Sales Executive:
Ability to sell media products in a B2B marketplace to new and existing clientsUnderstanding of the typical products in the B2B media industry - especially digital ad formatsSuccess in new business and account managementExperience of selling print advertisingExperience of selling sponsorship to eventsExperience of planning and writing proposals to clientsStrong influencing and negotiating skills
