In-House Communications Officer
A wonderful opportunity has arisen to join a growing marketing and communications team – with responsibility for delivering the quarterly in house magazine, and to drive engaging and fresh content to the internal news website.
You will demonstrate a passion for writing – ideally with experience of copy writing within a professional setting. It is essential that you are able to adopt the tone of voice and language that will engage across the business as a whole. You will need to possess the nose of a journalist – able to sniff out interesting and relevant stories, and then to adjust your style to suit the topic and the audience. You will be regularly updating the content on the intranet to keep it fresh and current.
You will be reporting into and working closely with the Brand and Communications Manager who passionately believes in developing talent and giving people the opportunity to challenge themselves daily. The business itself fully supports the development of its staff, and is quick to identify both internal and external training and learning opportunities to allow their people to reach their potential.
As you will be engaging with a range of different people within the business you need to confident in your ability to communicate effectively at all levels. Fit to the business is key – you will demonstrate a first class work ethic, a lack of ego and a willingness to take on what is thrown at you to your best ability.
