A global consultancy is seeking a Director to join their senior team in London, and to play a leading role on client business, building relationship and generating new and existing business. Reporting to and working closely with the EMEA Managing Director, you will supplement our senior EMEA Board and partner with us to shape and deliver our best in class service offering to a high profile client base which is at the heart of the company.

What you will do...
Cultivate meaningful relationships with existing clients and generate on target business from those relationships, as part of a wider client team – this entails client service, relationship management, proposal writing and proactive identification of work opportunities that would benefit the client.
Be seen as a Trusted Advisor to clients through the addition of valuable recommendations and solutions to answer their central question
Contribute and input into the development and execution of the strategy for the EMEA business to deliver sustainable growth year on year
Successfully widen and deepen senior level networks through the ability to make strong connections, delivery of thought leadership, possessing charisma and great influencing skills
Manage and motivate project teams to deliver high quality work on time and on budget with well-developed strategic implications and clarity about the application of this learning to a client’s business challenge.
What you will have...
An aptitude to lead service development with an innovative and forward-thinking approach
Proven experience in marketing, strategic brand planning or a very strategic communications function in a time-based professional services business and also preferably having spent some time client-side
A keen interest in culture, planning, business and current affairs.
Robust experience at senior level across a diverse array of categories, brands and
businesses. Able to demonstrate powerful thinking about brands, companies and wider
Client Impact - Able to lead and grow major client relationships and to engage with
clients at very senior levels.
Business Impact - sound commercial judgement and business development skills.
Personal Impact – Skilled at getting individuals behind an aligned purpose; acts in line
with a visible set of values and beliefs; authentic and courageous, comfortable to work
through conflict with an ability to see a positive outcome in difficult situations.
A clear and concise presentation style and with workshop facilitation experience
Proven strategic thinker, able to derive strategic recommendations for clients that will
make a positive difference to their business.
