A Senior Product Marketing Manager / Consumer Product Marketing Manager / Senior Marketing Manager is needed by a global VC backed start-up to develop a compelling consumer value proposition across multiple markets.

They are looking for a customer champion to be the voice and driver of their needs within the business. You will have strong experience of feeding this back into the product roadmap, as well as leveraging the most relevant marketing campaigns for their customers. 2017 is set up to be an exciting year for this business, with this role playing a lead part in their diversification.


The Senior Product Marketing Manager / Consumer Product Marketing Manager / Senior Marketing Manager will be responsible for:

-Developing and delivering an end-to-end customer value proposition

-Developing a "customer first" culture within the business

-Setting up best practice for consumer feedback and requirements, feeding this into product management, shaping the product roadmap

-Working with Marketing and sales teams across multiple markets, communicating consumer value proposition

-Setting out consumer marketing strategies across ATL and BTL channels

-Developing proposition-level messaging for both new and existing customers

-Establishing product and brand positioning across the market

-Further segmenting the customer database, establishing new ways to target and engage them


The Senior Product Marketing Manager / Consumer Product Marketing Manager / Senior Marketing Manager will have:

-At least 3 years' experience working in a consumer Product Marketing role

-Experience working within the consumer tech industry (online and offline ideally)

-A solid understanding of conventional consumer product management, and how to incorporate feature development into Marketing activity

-A deep understanding of customer first marketing, and developing compelling value propositions that drive engagement, usage and affinity

-Experience in new product development, managing product life cycles from go-to-market launch

-Excellent communication skills, specifically around winning buy-in, influencing stakeholders and driving best practice

-A deep understanding of competitor analysis, market research and trends, driving insight and decision making from this

-Strong academics (nice-to-have)
