We have an excellent opportunity for a talented and experienced Email Marketing Manager to spearhead the email marketing strategies of our client, a multi-award winning, highly reputable digital marketing agency. This is a brilliant role to join a tight knit team who deliver an integrated online marketing service to their clients, with each employee adding a layer of dedication, expertise, and fun to this agency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify target audiences and actively grow the email list(s)
  • Design and implement direct email marketing campaigns
  • Ensuring all email campaigns are GDPR compliant and follow industry policies and best practices
  • Ensure all email marketing communications are concise, customer-focused, solution-based, and follow company best practice and branding
  • Work with the design team to develop engaging and creative assets for email templates
  • Create, communicate, and deliver an email marketing growth plan covering new campaigns and optimising existing ones
  • Proofread emails for clarity, grammar and spelling
  • Ensure mobile-friendly email templates
  • Write newsletters, including all company updates
  • Upgrade email templates using graphics, personalisation, and advanced features
  • Ensure prompt and accurate communication with clients via email to minimise unsubscribe.
  • Create email databases for lead generation
  • Utilise data seller software to increase contact information
  • Analyse campaign performance and suggest improvements
  • Report on sales revenue generated from email marketing efforts

Key skills:

  • Minimum 3 years experience as an email marketing specialist for B2B
  • Proven ability to launch successful email marketing campaigns
  • Experience in working cold data B2B campaigns
  • Experience with data buying software
  • Experience creating and managing automated email funnels
  • Hands-on experience with HTML and content management systems
  • Proficiency in marketing automation technology
  • Knowledge of SEO, SEM and Google Analytics
  • Familiarity with analytical and database tools
  • Excellent written communication and copywriting skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Proficiency in meeting tight deadlines
