Iconic central London advertising agency seeks a talented Senior Account Manager to work on a stunning retail account.

To qualify, it's really important that you have experience of delivering high profile 360 campaigns.

The Senior Account Manager Role

The agency are looking for a Senior Account Manager to work on one of the most important accounts at the agency.

The Senior Account Manager must be really switched on and passionate about advertising. The person will ideally hold a minimum 2:1 degree (although not essential), be bright, enthusiastic and have experience of large TV productions.

The role of the Senior Account Manager is central to leading campaigns and ensuring they are run effectively using all the resources within that agency and 3rd parties, as well as managing their team.

The Senior Account Manager will be comfortable building strong relationships with clients at all levels, including up to Marketing Director level.

It combines organisational and creative flair, outstanding people skills and bundles of energy.  It is the foundation of the agency’s client relationships, based on a trust that they always deliver. The role begins with campaign planning and involves great communication, financial management, and close day to day communication with clients.

The Account

This retailer are experiencing unprecedented growth at the moment, and are currently one of the fastest growing food retailers in the UK. The agency have been able to help with that growth with their brand launch and subsequent ATL campaigns.

The account is one of the largest in the agency and they are proud to be responsible as the lead creative and strategic agency.

They originate all of the campaigns, delivering the ATL and retail communications in tandem with the client’s partner agencies in media and social media in order to deliver integrated campaigns.

The tasks in this role will include, but are not limited to:

  • Day to day client contact
  • Overseeing and managing internal agency relationships
  • Managing a team of Account Executives and contributing to their development
  • Leading role in pre-production of TV shoots and management at the shoot itself
  • Ownership and delivery of own projects, delivering on time and on budget
  • Project planning, allowing the agency to plan resource
  • Always striving to produce the best creative work

The Senior Account Manager Required

The Senior Account Manager must:

A great Senior Account Manager can work with a high level of autonomy and utilise the resources available to them comfortably while managing the client relationship. They deliver what is asked of them with total enthusiasm, over deliver on the brief and deliver it a week early (or on time maybe).

They are great positive people to have around and are not only competent at delivering complex campaigns under the guidance of the Account Director, but are also keen to get involved with the wider planning and running of the account.

Love the work. We are in a creative industry and it is ultimately what we all get up in the morning to do. Don’t just take an interest, throw yourself at it. Read all the old D&AD books and find out what won at Cannes, read IPA papers.

Immerse yourself in the agency culture and brand. Acquire knowledge quickly and you will talk the same language as everyone else and you will quickly impress everyone and become an integral part of the team.
