Public Affairs Officer for a Local Transport Authority based in southwark
Your new company
The organisation is a local Transport Authority based In Southwark in London and they are looking o recruit a Public Affairs Officer to support them with a new project. the role is a 10 month contract and the role has the opportunity to allow for career development
Your new role
The main purpose of the role s to support the day to day running of the new project (which you will hear more about at interview stage). You will be responsible for making decisions around the project, budget and targets. you will also be liaising with a number of different stakeholders around the business including external agencies and internal employees.
What you'll need to succeed
you will need the following experience to be to be successful:
- Public Affairs experience
- Working in a large complex organisation
- You will have come from a Communications back ground
- Internal and external Stakeholder relations
- Media experience
The ideal candidate will be from a Transport/ Public sector or construction back ground.
