Senior Pitches & Pursuits Advisor - Legal
This is an exceptional bids role in one of the largest law firms in the world. Working under the supervision of the Pitches and Pursuits Manager, the Senior Pitches & Pursuits Advisor will assist the pitch team with effective pitch development and delivery in a global, fast-paced and results-oriented environment.
Leveraging the firm's pitch best practices to ensure pitch materials are consistently client-focused, compliant, and easy to evaluate, the role holder will work collaboratively with the practice area and industry Marketing and Business Development teams to develop and design responses to client proposals and high-quality, complex pitches that support the firm's business development requirements. Keeping abreast of relevant market and competitive intelligence in the United Kingdom, the Senior Pitches & Pursuits Advisor's responsibilities will include researching and reviewing relevant market, industry, competitive, and business information; identifying compelling new ways to improve final pitch product and existing pitch processes; managing the final production of complex pitches for client delivery; maintaining and updating standard pitch content in pitch database; identifying inefficiencies in the pitch process and developing plans to address; and continuously looking for new areas of growth and helping develop a strategy for further pursuits.
This is an opportunity that requires a highly motivated and enthusiastic self-starter with a can-do attitude and strategic outlook and a strong academic background, allied to previous bids and proposals experience, gained preferably in a global professional services organisation. It goes without saying that outstanding communication and influencing skills are essential and the Senior Pitches & Pursuits Advisor must also be pragmatic, robust, diplomatic and resourceful, with the ability to adapt quickly to different situations and personalities.
